LX Wicks

The LX Series wick is a flat-braided construction made from pure ring-spun cotton yarn and reinforced with structural support threads to maintain rigidity during wax pouring. It is optimised for paraffin wax formulations and enhances the burn performance of fragranced and coloured container and votive candles. The design reduces afterglow, smoke, and soot while its self-trimming behaviour helps minimise carbon build-up (mushrooming). A stable, consistent flame also promotes even heat distribution — preventing container hot spots and reducing tunnelling or side leakage in pillar candles. Each wick is supplied pre-cut to 120 mm, lightly paraffin-coated, and fitted with a 15 mm metal sustainer tab.
